New general manager to lead service org at Butler airport
Matt Steele, a Pittsburgh native and Marine Corps veteran, has been appointed general manager of AirQuest Aviation, a company that provides services at Pittsburgh-Butler Regional Airport.
As a Western Pennsylvania fixed-base operator, AirQuest Aviation provides services throughout 48 U.S. states, the Bahamas and Canada.
Prior to his career to AirQuest Aviation, Matt served as a platoon sergeant in the U.S. Marine Corps and graduated from the Pittsburgh Institute of Aeronautics in 2002. Upon graduation, he became lead mechanic at the Cessna Citation Service Center in Wichita, Kan. Matt moved back to Pittsburgh in 2007, and worked as mechanic supervisor for the Dick’s Sporting Goods flight department at Corporate Air.
“A good team with the right leadership can accomplish great things, and AirQuest is accomplishing great things,” Steele said.
