I remember your face smiling at us all

I remember your voice telling us a story of the past

I remember how much you loved us and how much you were loved

Then I remember your death

Nothing is the same now

More than one heart stopped beating that day

More than one last breath was taken that day

We all lost so much that day.

We lost our hero, our best friend, our brother, our papa, our husband, our dad

We all lost you that day

We will love you as we always have

We will smile when we think of you even though tears will roll down our checks

We will have moments of peace,

We will have moments of pain.

We will cry and we will laugh.

But we will never forget you or let you ever be forgotten.

We love you and miss you every day and will do so until we meet again.

Until that day...we will just remember.
