College notes

VICTORIA WILSON (North Catholic, Mars), a member of the Washington & Jefferson women’s tennis team, won her singles match by a 6-2, 7-6 score against Saint Vincent.

SCOTT FRASER (Knoch) caught four passes for 78 yards in Grove City’s 42-7 football win over Saint Vincent.

COURTNEY LISMAN (Mars) made a season-high nine saves in goal for Grove City in the Wolverines’ 6-1 women’s soccer loss to Franciscan.

ANNA DeGRAAF (Seneca Valley) posted a team-high nine kills in Grove City’s 3-0 women’s volleyball loss to Marietta. She had five blocks as well. DeGraaf had six kills in a loss to Carnegie Mellon.

GABBY LUCAS (Butler), a junior libero, had two aces for Grove City against Marietta and 15 digs against Carnegie Mellon.

ASHLEY REA (Seneca Valley) assisted on a goal for Slippery Rock in The Rock’s 1-0 women’s soccer win over Edinboro.

JONAH DeWITT (Seneca Valley) paced Grove City’s cross country team at the Lock Haven Invitational. He placed 105th overall with a time of 27 minutes, 3.70 seconds.

LEXI CHAPPEL (Butler) won at No. 1 singles for Grove City’s women’s tennis team, defeating Abby Franks of Mount Union 6-4, 7-5.
