SRU gets 2-0 victory
Dana O’Neill made three saves to earn the shutout as Slippery Rock University’s women’s soccer team defeated visiting Seton Hill 2-0 Tuesday night.
The Rock (4-1-1, 3-1-1) benefitted from an own goal scored by the Griffins in the first half before Caitlin Binder scored in the 73rd minute of play off a pass from Allison Harbart.
SRU travels to the University of Pittsburgh-Johnstown on Saturday.
