Francis Bruce Marion

Francis Bruce Marion, 64, of Pittsburgh passed away on May 23 due to heart-related complications.

Bruce was born in Pittsburgh on April 3, 1952.

He graduated from Life Chiropractic College in 1980 and practiced in Georgia until his retirement in 1985. He had the hands of a healer and continued to provide relief for many years following his retirement.

Bruce was a dedicated father, friend, healer, musician and volunteer. He enjoyed socializing, jazz music, dance and the arts.

He is survived by his only child, Katrina Theresa Marion Dougherty; his sister, Lucy Marion McKinney; his brother, Chuck Marion; many nieces and nephews; and other family and friends.

Bruce was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Bea Marion, and his sister, Sally Caldwell.

MARION — The memorial service for Francis Bruce Marion, who died Monday, May 23, 2016, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Boylan Funeral Home, 116 E. Main St., Evans City. John Pistorius will officiate.Following the service, family and friends are invited to join the family for a Celebration of Life party to honor Bruce at 12:30 p.m. at the EDCO Park Pavilion, 154 W.
