Margaret H. Miller

Margaret H. Miller, 93, formerly of Butler passed away on Monday at Concordia Lutheran Ministries.

She was born March 25, 1924, in Creekside, Pa., and was the daughter of the late Jesse M. Hollopeter and Evelyn (Duff) Hollopeter.

Mrs. Miller was a graduate of Dubois Area Senior High School.

She was a homemaker and a member of Faith United Presbyterian Church.

Mrs. Miller enjoyed reading, history and gardening.

She is survived by one son, Bruce W. Miller Jr. of Butler; one brother, Robert D. Hollopeter of Lexington, Ky.; three nephews, Richard Madison of Butler, Gary Miller of Cranberry Township, and Scott Hollopeter of Pickerington, Ohio; seven nieces, Janis Billig of Hyde Park, N.Y., Jordus Rung of Stowe, Ohio, Merry Wagner of Florida, Karon Fisher of Lexington, Ky., Cynthia Hinchberger of Butler, Kathye Hollopeter of Lexington, Ky., and Wendy Fleeger of Florida.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bruce Wayne Miller, whom she married June 20, 1947, and who passed away July 3, 1997; and one daughter.

MILLER — Friends of Margaret H. Miller, who died Monday, Dec. 25, 2017, will be received from 11:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. and from 3 until 5 p.m. Saturday at Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E.
