Richard Louis 'Rick' Kramer II
Richard Louis “Rick” Kramer II, 69, of Butler passed away at 5:16 a.m. Sunday at his home.
He was born on May 7, 1945, in Minneapolis, Minn., to the late Richard L. Kramer and Leona G. (Bergman) Kramer.
Mr. Kramer worked as a truck driver at DuBrook, Marmon Keystone, Foreman Brothers and MC of A, retiring in September 2005.
He was a member of the Grace@Calvary Evangelical Lutheran Church, and he enjoyed NASCAR and his black labs.
Mr. Kramer is survived by his wife, Carol M. (Myers) Kramer, who he married on July 24, 1964; his two sons, Brian R. Kramer and his wife, Robin, and Sean M. Kramer, all of Butler; his two daughters, Cynthia M. Christensen and her husband, Bill, of Warren, Ohio, and Michele L. Knox and her husband, Duane, of Butler; his six grandchildren, Isis Logan, Ryan Wilson, Trista Fischer, Brianne Kramer, Nicky Kramer and AJ Kramer; and his three great-grandchildren.
Kramer — The friends of Richard Louis “Rick” Kramer II, who passed away Sunday, July 27, 2014, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E. North St., Butler.Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Pastor Kurt Knobel of the Thorn Creek United Methodist Church officiating.
