Jeffrey William Flowers

Jeffrey William Flowers, 62, of Gibsonia suddenly and unexpectedly passed away Monday at the Wilson N. Jones Medical Center in Sherman, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Madalyn Flowers.

He is survived by wife, Susan “Susie” Flowers; his son, Justin Flowers; his daughter, Kayla O'Connell and her husband, Ryan; and his numerous cousins, nephews and nieces.

Before moving to Dallas, Texas, to be closer to family in 2014, he was an active member at St. Thomas Church in-the-Fields as a lay reader and eucharistic minister, a former Boy Scout leader of Troop 150 and a Gideon.

Jeff was a large presence in every life he touched. He would, without hesitation or question, help out with any issue, no matter what the scale of the problem. He always wanted to make light of a situation and would never want you to grieve, but remember the joy of having him in our lives.
