Charles A. 'Chuck' Penny
Charles A. “Chuck” Penny, 77, of Saxonburg passed away Tuesday at his home.
Born on Dec. 31, 1937, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late George and Blanche Austin Penny.
Chuck was a graduate of Carrick High School.
After high school, he served in the U.S. Army, deploying to Germany, where he was a chauffeur to the brigadier general.
He worked as a truck driver for ElectroMelt, Lewis Pflugh Trucking and Aaron Industrial Supply. He enjoyed driving and watching racing.
Surviving are his loving wife, Patricia Rhyshek Penny, who he married on Aug. 29, 1967; his son, Charles J. Penny of Warren, Ohio, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his five sisters and two brothers.
