Joanne E. Fichter Herb
Joanne E. Fichter Herb, 69, of Middlesex Township, Valencia, died Wednesday afternoon at the VNA Inpatient Hospice in Butler.
Born July 22, 1947, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Betty Sweepe Fichter.
Joann was a homemaker and enjoyed flower gardening and her ceramic club. She especially loved her cats. She attended the CrossWay Church.
Surviving are her husband, Gary Y. Herb, who she married Aug. 21, 1976; two daughters, Carrie Ann Herb of Valencia and Christine Louise Herb of Butler; one grandson, Jayden Herb; two sisters, Lori Good of Marshall Township and Lynn Gmuer (Fred) of Shaler; one brother, Scott Leight of Pine Township; one sister-in-law, Ruth (the late Vernon) Frey of Dorseyville; one brother-in-law, Rick Noel of Pittsburgh; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Kathie Noel.
