Tyler Earl Barron
Tyler Earl Barron, 92, of East Butler passed away Tuesday at Concordia Lutheran Ministries.
He was born April 14, 1925, in Keister, Pa., to Harry Earl Barron and Alice (Hogg) Barron.
Mr. Barron was a millwright for Spang & Co. before retiring April 1, 1989.
He was a member of East Butler Presbyterian Church and a life member of East Butler Firemans Club.
Tyler was very active in his community and enjoyed spending time with his family.
He is survived by three sons, William Barron and his wife, Patricia, of Raleigh, N.C.; John Barron and his wife, Judy, of Renfrew, and Thomas Barron and his wife, Sandy, of Chicora; one daughter, Mary Wimer and her husband, Walter Jr. of Butler; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two sisters, Bernice Ambrose of Crofton, Md., and Dorothy McBride of Butler; and a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Amelia Barron, whom he married June 2, 1945, and who passed away June 21, 2005; two brothers, and one sister.
BARRON — Friends of Tyler Earl Barron, who died Tuesday, Oct. 17, 2017, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E. North St., Butler.Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, also at the funeral home, with the Rev. Mary J.
