Edward “Ed” Meeder, 54, of Alabama, formerly of Evans City, died in his home April 29.

He was born on Feb. 25, 1959, and was the son of LeRoy Meeder of Zelienople and the late Betty (Davis) Meeder.

Surviving, along with his father, are a daughter, Melissa Doss of Dutton, Ala.; a grandson, Jalen Doss of Dutton, Ala.; two sisters, Sarah Meeder of Scottsboro, Ala., and Doris Keith (Joe) of Marsteller, Pa.; two brothers, Paul Meeder (Sharon) of Butler and Larry Meeder (Carol) of Zelienople; and several nieces and nephews. Also surviving is a very special friend, Karen Pratt of Garth, Ala.

MEEDER — All services for Edward “Ed” Meeder, who died Monday, April 29, 2013, were in Alabama. Arrangements were entrusted to the Huntsman Funeral Home, Rochester, Pa.
