Cheri Readie, co-owner of the Holly Pointe Building on Main Street in Butler, leads a group on a tour through the newly renovated building Thursday at a VIP mixer. Readie bought the building in 2016 and took the opportunity that the coronavirus pandemic presented of restricted public traffic to make a highly anticipated update to the public spaces of the building. It was a rebranding that included new paint, a new color scheme and new artwork along with upcycled materials and repurposed fixtures that create a sleek modern look. With the help of the Paycheck Protection Program, Readie used the funds to help keep her staff employed during the five-week face-lift. Readie said approximately 50 people attended the Thursday mixer, which included professional headshots sponsored by Connectwork on Main and tours showcasing the renovations and specific tenants in the building such as Dress for Success.
