HARMONY — Junior Achievement of Western Pennsylvania and the Zelienople-Harmony Area Chamber of Commerce are teaming up to host the annual Western District Golf Classic June 11.

The tourney will be held at Hartmann's Deep Valley Resort. Registration and a continental breakfast is at 9 a.m., shotgun start at 10 a.m.

Cost is $100 per golfer and includes breakfast, lunch and a steak or seafood dinner.

Heroes on the Water, a non-profit organization that introduces veterans to kayak fishing, will hold a fishing event Saturday at Lake Arthur.The outing will run from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. out of the McDaniels launch area.
