Marjorie L. Thiry

Marjorie L. Thiry, 63, of Harrisville passed away Friday at UPMC Passavant Hospital in Pittsburgh.

Marjorie was born Oct. 2, 1954, in Chandler, Ariz., the daughter of the late David and Dorothy Bovard.

Marjorie graduated from Moniteau High School. She married Ronald Thiry on Jan. 12, 1974, and together celebrated 44 years of marriage together.

Marjorie worked for Reynold Food Packing in Grove City but most recently worked at the Dollar Store in Clintonville as a cashier.

Marjorie enjoyed going camping with her family and traveling with her husband. She loved a good book and earlier in life enjoyed to cross stich. Her beloved dogs, Soephie and Biscuit, will miss her dearly.

Loved ones left to cherish her memory are her husband, Ron of Harrisville; her daughter, Jennifer Thiry of Harrisville; her son, David Thiry and his wife, Jackie, of Harrisville; her grandchildren, Joseph Thiry of Ft. Drum N.Y., and Kierra and Makayla Thiry of Harrisville; two brothers, Brian Bovard and his wife, Rosa, of Texas and Bill Bovard and his wife, Theresa, of Harrisville; and two aunts, Dori Dyer of Grove City and Mildred Quinette of Pittsburgh.

Marjorie was proceeded in death by her parents and several aunts and uncles.

THIRY — Family of Marjorie L. Thiry, who died Friday, July 6, 2018, will welcome friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 3 to 5 p.m. Tuesday at the Jamison-McKinley Funeral Home, 117 N. Main St., Harrisville.Funeral services will take place at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
