VICTORIA WILSON (North Catholic, Mars), a tennis player for Washington & Jefferson, won her doubles match with Emma Humphrey, 8-2, and her singles match, 6-2, 6-1, against Geneva.
ELLIE COFFIELD (Mars) had an assist in Pitt’s 4-1 women’s soccer win over Virginia Tech. The Panthers improved to 8-1 overall, 1-0 in ACC play.
AIDAN DOMENCIC (Seneca Valley) placed eighth overall with a time of 28 minutes, 7.5 seconds for the Penn State Behrend men’s cross country team at the PSB Invitational. Behrend finished second in the team standings.
ANNIE DeGRAAF (Seneca Valley) recorded six blocks in Grove City’s 3-2 women’s volleyball win over Alma. She added eight kills and a career-high 10 blocks in a win over Thiel.
GABBY LUCAS (Butler) served three aces for Grove City in that victory, then added three aces and 28 digs against Thiel. Grove City has won six consecutive matches.
LEXI CHAPPEL (Butler) teamed with Maggie Troxel for an 8-2 win at No. 1 doubles in Grove City’s 9-0 women’s tennis win over Fredonia State.
QUINTIN WEAVER (Union) finished seventh overall for Thiel’s men’s cross country team at the Allegheny Classic. His time was 21 minutes, 58 seconds.
GABBY KUTCHMA (Seneca Valley), running for Clarion’s women’s cross country team, finished behind only one Division 1 runner at the Colonial Invitational, hosted by Robert Morris. Her time was 24 minutes, 20.89 seconds. AUTUMN PETTINATO (Butler) was the seventh Clarion runner to finish the race.
RUTHIE HUGHES (Seneca Valley), running cross country for Slippery Rock, won the Allegheny Classic with a time of 18 minutes, 59 seconds.
SCOTT FRASER (Knoch) caught 10 passes for a career-high 209 yards and a touchdown in Grove City’s 40-33 football loss to Carnegie Mellon.
JAMES PARENTI (Moniteau), a defensive tackle, led Grove City with seven tackles in that loss.
ISAAC BUSLER (Butler) finished 34th overall for Grove City at the Allegheny Classic cross country meet. His time was 25 minutes, 48 seconds.
