The Butler VA Health Care System announced its flu clinic scheduled for Monday, Sept. 19, at the New Castle Road Campus, 325 New Castle Road, will be limited to veterans age 65 and older.

Limiting the age range for the vaccines is due to an unexpected delay in flu vaccine supplies.

“Our apologies for any inconvenience this may cause,” said Sharon Coyle, Butler VA director, on Friday. “We anticipate delivery of flu vaccines sometime early next week.”

Veterans may receive their flu shots at any of the flu clinics on offer through the VA or through their primary care physician. A complete list of flu clinic dates, times and locations is available online at the following address: www.va.gov/butler-health-care/events.
