Kara Ann Kendziorski
Kara Ann Kendziorski, 38, of Slippery Rock passed away Sunday.
She was the daughter of Stanley Joseph Kendziorski and Phyllis Ann Schmidt Kendziorski.
Kara graduated from Slippery Rock High School in 1995 and attended Slippery Rock University, where her interest revolved around English and literature.
She was an avid reader and of the hundreds of books she had read, she prized her signed first edition of the Stephen King book, “Under The Dome.”
She loved children and loved reading and playing with them. She loved animals, especially horses, and working on horse farms. She would do anything to help a friend in need, and her friends were from all walks of life. She greatly enjoyed travel and visited Europe twice and as part of a group from Slippery Rock University visited Haiti as a volunteer to support the Haitian people. Most of all, she had a deep love for her niece, Willow, and enjoyed spending time with her.
She attended St. Peter Roman Catholic Church in Slippery Rock.
Survivors are her parents, Stanley J. and Phyllis A. Kendziorski of Slippery Rock; her brother, Eric C. Kendziorski; and her niece, Willow of Grove City.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents.
KENDZIORSKI — Services for Kara Ann Kendziorski, who died Sunday, April 17, 2016, will be private.Interment will be at the Slippery Rock Cemetery, beside her beloved grandmother, Florence Schmidt.Arrangements are being handled by the Smith Funeral Home, 421 New Castle St., Slippery Rock.
