Virginia (Beals) Potts, 72, of Butler died Friday at Butler Memorial Hospital after a long illness.

Born Aug. 27, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Clyde E. and Nellie J. (Gray) Beals. She was a 1962 graduate of Pine-Richland High School.

Virginia is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Eberhardt of Butler; her granddaughter, Tiffany (Adam) Harris; and her stepgreat-granddaughter, Jazmyn Harris of Butler.

She also is survived by her sister, Jean (Howard “Buzz”) Neff; her brother, Donald (Francine) Beals; a number of nieces and nephews; and many friends who loved and will miss her dearly.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, June Carol Beals; and infant twin grandsons, Cory Travis Wilson and Justin Scott Wilson.
