The GFWC Intermediate League of Butler kicks off the new club year/administration with an opening dinner Monday, Sept. 19, at Christ Community Methodist Church, 105 N. Duffy Road.

Social time will begin at 5:30 p.m. with dinner, and the meeting at 6 p.m. Members can call Cynthia Kramer or Cathy Wesley for reservations.

Members are asked to bring juice boxes, healthy snacks and small containers of Play-Doh to be given to children at the Child Advocacy Center. Members are also asked to bring writing journals, which will be distributed to the children and adults served by VOICE, as part of GFWC Signature Project: Domestic Violence Awareness & Prevention. Dues will be collected.
