“The Prodigal Sons,” the second musical of Valencia resident Jeannie Allen, will be staged at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday and at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Succop Theater at Butler County Community College. Admission is $10. Allen also wrote “Esther the Musical.” Visit theesthermusical.com.

“Shootout at Slippery Rock Creek,” a new original play, will be presented Sept. 11 to 13 and 18 to 20at the Old Stone House near the intersection of Routes 8, 173 and 528 in Brady Township.
