A section of Mercer Road in Harmony will remain closed until Sept. 23 so work on the roundabout can continue.

The state Department of Transportation said the road will be closed between Route 19 and Little Creek Road, and from Little Creek Road to Wise Road so a contractor can continue work on the roundabout splinter islands and truck apron, and continue concrete and asphalt work.

Little Creek Road will remain open to through traffic during the closure. To detour, motorists should use Wise Road to Route 19 or Little Creek Road to Route 19.
