Applications available for winter wear
The Butler Salvation Army is accepting applications for its Project Bundle Up program from 1 to 3 p.m. Wednesday and 10 a.m. to noon Thursday, as well as 10 a.m. to noon Sep. 20 and 22, at its office at 313 W. Cunningham St.
Children up to the age of 18 and senior citizens over the age of 65 from low-income households are eligible to apply every two years for warm winter outerwear.
Major Darlene Means said qualifying senior citizens will receive a voucher to buy new outerwear, while children will be taken on a shopping trip.
