William McConnell
William “Willie” McConnell, 67, of Butler, passed away on Monday, Jan. 18, 2021.
He was born Nov. 2, 1953, in Slippery Rock, and was the son of the late Thomas and Katherine McConnell.
William enjoyed NASCAR, bowling and solitaire. Above all else, he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
William worked as a crane operator for years. He then drove for the Butler Transit Authority for 22 years, and then drove a school bus for Valley Lines for more than 35 years.
William was the loving husband of Adrian “Conda” (Bailey) McConnell; father of John (Tanieka) McConnell and Mandy (Jason) Robison; brother of Gerald (Sherry) McConnell of Florida and Gloria (Kenny) McAnallen of West Sunbury; grandfather of Tevin, Blayne, Laila, Keoni and Laynee; and great-grandfather of Josephine, Katherine, Rhylee and Brynlee.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Richard McConnell, who passed away in 2019.
MCCONNELL — Services for William “Willie” McConnell, who died Monday, Jan. 18, 2021, will be held privately and are under the direction of SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 New Castle Road, Butler.
