L. Jane Snyder, 91, of West Sunbury passed away at 6:40 p.m. Saturday at the Butler VNA Inpatient Hospice.

She was born in Queen's Junction on April 20, 1921, to the late Henry and Sara Fleeger Dillaman.

She loved making quilts and going to auctions. In her younger years, she had worked at the Spade Shirt Factory, Mack's Poultry Farm and as a school bus monitor.

She is survived by three daughters, Joan (John) M. Murphy of Butler, Beverly (Robert) Capello of Slippery Rock and Judy (Larry) Grossman of Slippery Rock; three sons, D. Craig (Sylvia) Snyder of Boyers, Dennis (Cindy) Kildoo of Butler and Larry (Gloria) Snyder of Slippery Rock; 11 granddaughters, Cathy (Kenneth) Metrick, Connie (Harold) Dunn, Joyce (Kenneth) Laughlin, Jacki (Mathew) DiPippa, Shari (Scott) Weist, Pam (Thomas) Huff, Loren Kildoo, Jodi (David) Lauglin, Lisa Grossman, Beth (Chris) Overstreet and Diana (Keith) Eisler; five grandsons, Robert (Karla) Capello, Robert (Jordan) Snyder, Patrick Snyder, Mike Snyder and Aaron Kildoo; 35 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren. Two sisters, Donna (Francis) McCall and Doris (Francis) Wieland; and one sister-in-law, Nancy Dillaman, all of Butler, also survive.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Kenneth Lee Kildoo in 1955; her second husband of 54 years, Charles F. Snyder in 2011; one son, Larry Lee Kildoo; one sister, Betty Carlson; and one brother, Robert Dillaman.

SNYDER — Friends of L. Jane Snyder, who passed away Saturday, Jan. 12, 2013, will be received at the William F. Young Funeral Home from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday. Funeral services will be at the funeral home at 11 a.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Connie Dunn, her granddaughter, officiating. Burial will be in the West Sunbury Union Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to the Butler Inpatient VNA Hospice, 115 Technology Drive, Butler, PA 16001, or to the Muddycreek Presbyterian Church.
