Sara Anne Thomas
Sara Anne (Marburger) Thomas, 43, of Franklin Township found her final peace on Sunday while under the care of the VNA Hospice Inpatient Unit in Butler after a long illness.
Born April 10, 1969, in Pittsburgh, she was the beloved daughter of Willis A. Marburger Jr., and his wife, Patricia, of Franklin Township, who survive her.
Sara was a 1988 graduate of Seneca Valley High School and a proud 2006 graduate of Slippery Rock University where she earned a bachelor of education. She brought much joy to many people with her contagious laughter and her sense of humor. She will be greatly missed by all.
Sara also is survived by her cherished son, Christopher A. Thomas of Franklin Township; her brother, W. Kurt Marburger and his wife, Amy, of Maryland; her two sisters, Kathleen Whyte and her husband, Donald, of Harmony, and Bridget Jankowski and her husband, Daniel, of Toronto, Ontario, Canada; as well as several loving nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
Sara was preceded in death by her mother, Patricia (Fulkerson) Yasko.
THOMAS— A memorial service for Sara Anne (Marburger) Thomas, who died Sunday, Sept. 2, 2012, will be celebrated later by Sara's family. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the BOYLAN FUNERAL HOME, 116 E.
