Joseph R. Furka
Joseph R. Furka, 64, of Lyndora passed away Thursday at his home.
Born April 9, 1951, in Butler, he was a son of Joseph C. and Margaret (Hancheck) Furka.
He was a 1969 graduate of Butler High School. He was an avid motorcycle rider who also enjoyed building them. He was loved by many and had friends from all walks of life.
Surviving are his three children, Janis (Chris) Cover, Rachael Moore and Kolder Furka; his grandchildren, Hunter Moore and Cyle Covert; his parents, Joseph and Margaret Furka; and five sisters, Cecilia George, Diana (DL) McCandless, Debbie Peitz, Theresa (Ted) Czyzyk and Veronica (Don) Forcht, all of Butler.
He was preceded in death by his brother, David P. Furka; and his brothers-in-law, Richard Erdos, Bernie Peitz and Robert George.
FURKA — Friends of Joseph R. Furka, who died Thursday, Feb. 11, 2016, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 E.
