Gladys L. “Honey” McKissick
Gladys L. “Honey” McKissick, 78, of Butler passed away Saturday at the Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Butler, surrounded by her family.
Born Jan. 22, 1938, in Butler, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Gladys (Ekas) Stutz.
She retired from MSA as a production technician and was a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Roman Catholic Church in Herman.
She enjoyed camping at Vacation Land Campground and other vacations. She also enjoyed country western music and spending time with her grandchildren.
Surviving are three daughters, Terri (John) Malinski, Brenda (Joseph) Geibel and Sheila (Jon) Plaisted, all of Butler; five grandchildren, Joseph Geibel, Ronald Geibel, Nelson Gold, Maylee Graham and Olivia Graham; her great-grandchild, Camryn Geibel; three sisters, Phyllis Gardner, Naomi Fishel and Maryann Frye, all of Butler; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Nelson L. “Sonny” McKissick, who passed away April 27, 2009. They were married July 2, 1955.
