Thomas G. Spinneweber
Thomas G. Spinneweber, 70, of Butler died Wednesday at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh after an illness.
He was born in Butler on Oct. 8, 1942, and was the son of A. Kenneth and Leona Gibson Spinneweber.
He was a graduate of Butler High School and was retired from the former Armco Steel in Butler.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and a member of the Lyndora American Legion Post 778.
He was a Presbyterian.
He is survived by his wife, Janet Bauder Spinneweber, who he married Aug. 17, 1970; one daughter, Mrs. Melissa (Thomas) Bishop of Prospect; one stepdaughter, Becky Nye of Portersville; one brother, James (Barbara) Spinneweber of Portersville; one sister-in-law, Cheryl Spinneweber of Florida; two grandsons, Ryan James Dusheck and Corey Thomas Dusheck of Portersville; one stepgrandson, Thomas (Amy) Bishop of Greensburg; and one step-great- granddaughter, Rose Bishop of Greensburg.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
SPINNEWEBER — Friends of Thomas G. Spinneweber, who died Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2012, will be received at the Muddy Creek Presbyterian Church from 6 to 7 p.m. Friday with a memorial service to follow at 7 p.m. with the Rev. Matthew Kail officiating. Burial will be in the St. Joseph Cemetery in North Oakland.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Butler County Humane Society or to the Rainbow Animal Refuge in Lyndora.Arrangements are by the JAY BRYAN FUNERAL HOME in Prospect.
