Miller

Randy Miller, 65, of Apex, N.C., passed away Aug. 29, 2022.

Randy was born on Aug. 23, 1957, in Butler, to his parents, Richard and Leah Miller.

Randy’s great passion was fishing. He loved being on the water fishing for bass on Jordan Lake and red drum on the Neuse River. He was also a great carpenter and was known to be able fix anything. He also enjoyed biking, cooking, pickle ball and Frisbee golf.

Randy worked for IBM for 35 years. Randy graduated from Butler High School in 1975, and received an associate degree from Electronic Institutes in 1978.

He was preceded in death by his son, Randall Scott Miller; and his sisters, Elizabeth “Beth” Ann Bonney and Michelle Irion.

As a great husband and family man, he will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife of 43 years, Sue Miller.

He also leaves behind his father, Richard L Miller; his mother, Leah B. Serafine Miller; his siblings, Cyndie Stevenson (Tom), Rick Miller (Pam) and Brenda Cammisa (Tom); and many nieces and nephews.

MILLER — A celebration of life will be held at a later date for Randy Miller, who died Monday, Aug. 29, 2022..

In lieu of customary remembrances, memorial contributions may be donated to the North Carolina Wildlife Federation, which works to protect the fish Randy so loved.
