SARVER — Marge Harding of Sarver received the Ethel Award for Advocacy during an AARP awards program recognizing prominent older Pennsylvanians held last month in Harrisburg.
Named for AARP founder Dr. Ethel Percy Andrus, the Ethel Award recognized a Pennsylvania volunteer who showed outstanding support of AARP state and federal advocacy programs and campaigns that benefit older Pennsylvanians.
The award was presented to Harding and her late husband, Fred, who died earlier in the year.
