ZELIENOPLE — Dr. Charles Lockwood, Glade Run Lutheran Services president and CEO, has received ABOARD’s Autism Connections of PA Grandin Award for 2014.

The award, named after autism pioneer Temple Grandin, honors an individual in Pennsylvania who contributed to maximizing the potential of people with autism.

Lockwood will accept the award on Feb. 8 at the annual gala at Phipps Conservatory & Botanical Gardens in Pittsburgh.

Lockwood has led Glade Run Lutheran Services for more than 24 years. He was nominated for his investment in the expansion of autism programming at Glade Run Lutheran Services which has led to plans to develop Jeremiah Village, a planned community where individuals with and without autism can live.
