More than 2,200 people wore identical T-shirts for a photo at Knoch School District on Sept. 2.

The district took the photo to commemorate the beginning of the school year, and rounded up 2,050 students and roughly 200 staff members at the high school’s stadium to capture the moment.

The T-shirts have the Knoch shield on the front and the district’s new mission statement, “Student-Centered, Future-Focused,” on the back.

The T-shirts were printed at a discounted rate by Knoch alumnus Bill Mahan and Custom Sublimation and Apparel, and they were paid for through a donation from Penn United Technologies. The photo was taken by Erica Dietz of Dietz Photography, according to an email from Jenny Webb, who works in the communications department at Knoch.
