Kathryn B. Mayhew
Kathryn B. “Kay” Mayhew, 99, of Cabot, formerly Gibsonia, was called home to the Lord on Sunday.
She was born on March 7, 1916, in Swissvale, Pa., the daughter of the late Carl and Mary (Most) Best.
Kay worked early on for Union Switch & Signal in Swissvale, enjoyed sewing and was a longtime and devoted member of the First Presbyterian Church of Bakerstown.
She was the beloved wife of the late Robert B. Mayhew, now eternally together.
She was the loving mother of Marcia L. (Gary P. Demeter) Mayhew of Gibsonia; the dear aunt to nieces and nephews; and she also is survived by her beloved Yorkshire Terriers, Darby and Delsey.
She was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters.
