Religion/In response to Amesh Adalja, MD
Religion - I have read this site for the last two years and feel compelled to respond. I remember going to - if you will allow - several different churches growing up - Baptist, Methodist, Lutheran, Catholic and once again if you allow me -the Cherokee way of life / church.
After studying each and every one - the best I could - I have found the following to be true to my faith / heart.
Jesus doesn't care what you wear as a child / adult wear to church -(each of us knows what we can afford - without putting the rest of the family in the poor house) he cares that you show up to worship/understand / teach.
Jesus doesn't care about what faith you claim to be - as long as you are true to him and his teaching = you read the bible in full / understand / teach.
He cares that everything we do is to for betterment of our brother/sister - whether that is in the neighborhood or across the state or nation - he cares if we attempt / try to help one another. It is that simple. Does anyone find it ironic that when Princess Diana died we had such a long drawn out funeral - Mother Theresa died a week later that it wasn't mentioned in such "awe" in today's society - what are we really saying?

In response to Amesh Adalja, MD -
How would they feel if you held their child / spouses / parents heart in your hand - "it's not designed" - "this is wrong we shouldn't do this."
Until they are there - they do not know how much we beg for a medical healing - and when it doesn't work out well - how much we blame.Every one if given a gift - I may not understand all of yours but I do understand that your profession has astounded me many times, once it has tragically disappointed me. You really do not need to explain / defend - perhaps I'm wrong and you'd like to educate. In order to so they must have an open mind.
