Robert D. Woods, 92, of Evans City passed away Thursday afternoon at his residence.

Born June 27, 1925, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late J. Albert and Ruth (Brombach) Woods.

He was of the Catholic faith.

Bob was a mechanical engineer and had worked for several companies.

He was one of the founding members and a past president of North Hills Sports Car Club.

Bob had a great passion for playing golf.

Surviving are his wife, Patricia (Keil) Woods, whom he married July 7, 1961; one daughter, Karen Woods Howe of Pittsburgh; one son, John W. Woods of Evans City; and one brother, William R. Woods of Valencia.

WOODS — Services and burial for Robert D. Woods, who died Thursday, Sept. 14, 2017, were Tuesday, Sept. 19, 2017, at Greenlawn Burial Estates, Butler.

Arrangements were entrusted to A. Carl Kinsey-Ronald N. Volz Funeral Home, 328 W. Main St., Evans City.
