LYNDORA — A New Year's Eve dance will be held from 9 p.m. Dec. 31 to 1 a.m. Jan. 1 at Ukrainian Hall, Arbor Street.

Cost is $15 per person and participants should take their own beverages. Hot dogs and sauerkraut will be served at midnight.

BUTLER TWP — Butler County Community College will host its annual Light-Up Night: A Celebration of Winter Solstice from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the main campus, Campus Drive.The event will include 1,000 luminaries, free horse-drawn trolley rides and a visit from Santa Claus at 6 p.m.Games, crafts and stories for children will be available in the Convocation Center.
