Esther Charlotte Geibel Marburger, 67, of Cabot passed away Sunday at her home.

Born Nov. 4, 1944, in Marwood, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Anna (Frederick) Geibel.

Esther was a graduate of Knoch High School. She was a social member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Saxonburg VFW Post 7376. She was employed at Moonlight Mushroom and Sylvan Spawn Lab.

Esther enjoyed making crafts to give to her friends and family. She was an avid reader. She also had a great passion for dancing and spending time with her many friends and family. The enjoyment she received was hugging everyone who had touched her life. She was a very caring, happy-go-lucky person with a huge heart.

Esther is survived by her siblings, Albert (Terry Edwards) Geibel of Cabot, Leona (Charles) Hostetler of Cabot, Dorothy Matthews of Butler, Janet (Donald) Geibel Beggs of Butler, Bettie McCollough of Butler, Elsie Hemphill of Tarentum, Raymond Geibel of New Castle, John Geibel of Cabot, Mary (Robert) Ortz of Cabot, Mildred (Rick) Leipertz of Hawaii, Delores (Charles) Seelbaugh of Valencia, Marian Geibel of Virginia and Robert Geibel of Cabot; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her three brothers, Andrew, Donald and Paul Geibel.

MARBURGER — Esther Charlotte Geibel Marburger passed away Sunday, June 24, 2012. Private visitation was held for the immediate family at Fox Funeral Home, Saxonburg. There will be no services.
