Maxine McKee
Maxine McKee, 83, of Butler passed away Saturday at her home.
Born on June 21, 1930, in Butler, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Edith Davis Cooper.
Anna was employed for many years as a parts department manager for Country Motors and Nickles Dodge. She was the owner and operator of the Shady Grove Restaurant in Mt. Chestnut, Pa., for 10 years.
She was an avid bowler and a member of the Rebels Bowling League.
Surviving are her two daughters, Robin G. (Sonny) McKee Parker of Orlando, Fla., and Becky (Jay) Toogood of Butler; her five grandchildren, Jason (Diana) Toogood, Nicole (Eric) Peterson, Marissa Toogood, Christen Toogood and Cameron Parker; her three, great-grandchildren, Riley and Graceyn Peterson and Jonah Toogood, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her brother, her sister and two nephews.
MCKEE — The friends of Maxine McKee, who passed away Saturday, Jan. 11, 2014, will gather at the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler, from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday.
