Cody Fleeger smacked a two-run single in the second inning and Lee Will added an RBI base hit in the third to give Butler Township a 3-0 win over Butler City in Butler County American Legion baseball Thursday night.

Matt McCormick did the rest on the hill for Butler Township (10-4), striking out 10 in a three-hit shutout.

Elsewhere:

• Jamie Masciarelli drove in four runs with a double and a single, and RyanGeibel homered as East Butler routed Prospect 11-1 in five innings.

Greg Hays also had a triple for East Butler (10-2).

Adam Brydon and NickCress each doubled for Prospect (7-3).
