Emogene Montgomery
Emogene Louise McGuire Montgomery, 79, of Kittanning died Sunday at the Kittanning Care Center after a battle with cancer.
Born Sept. 1, 1928, in Clarion County, she was the daughter of Sped and Ethel Cramer McGuire.
She retired from the Armstrong County School District.
Mrs. Montgomery loved her family and friends. She also loved to gamble and play the slot machines.
She is survived by her sons, Raymond Jack Jones of Bruin, Barry James Montgomery of Kittanning, Rodney Neil Montgomery of Johnstown and William Paul Montgomery of Kittanning; daughters, Katherine Irene Montgomery of East Brady and Tammy Sue Bowser of Kittanning; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren, and a sister, Rebecca Guntrum of Rimersburg.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Robert Montgomery, who died March 10, 1980, and 12 siblings.
<B>MONTGOMERY</B> — Friends of Emogene Louise McGuire Montgomery, who died Sunday, Oct. 21, 2007, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the <B>SNYDER-CRISSMAN FUNERAL HOME</B>, Cowansville. Funeral services will be 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Lawn Haven Estates, Worthington.
