Sandra Kay Jones, 56, of Rimersburg passed away Monday at her home.

She was born April 7, 1955, in Hazard, Ky., the daughter of Bruce E. and Audrey Baine (Ferguson) Kelly.

Sandra lived in the Rimersburg area most of her life and attended the Zion Baptist Church.

She worked as a licensed practical nurse for Lifesteps and loved caring for her patients.

Outside of work, Sandra enjoyed being outdoors, especially camping and gardening. She was naturally creative and very artistic and was known for her beautiful jewelry creations.

Sandra’s focus throughout her life was her family. Her greatest joy was being “Nana” to her six grandchildren. Her family and friends will never forget her big heart and the way she looked out for everyone.

She will be deeply missed by her sons, Michael Scott Jones and his fiancee, Jen Fair, and Adam Lee Jones, all of Rimersburg; a daughter, Angie Jones-Kemmer and her husband, Scot, of Summerville, Jefferson County; grandchildren, Samantha Laird, Abbey Jones, Ethan Jones, Hope Kemmer, Casey Kemmer and Scarlett Love Jones; her fiance, L. John Crissman of New Bethlehem; brothers, Bruce Eugene Kelly Jr. and his wife, Sherry, of Richmond, Va., and Bryce W. Kelly and his companion, Annie Remis, of Ford City; and a sister, Bridget Morrow and her husband, Verne, of Butler.

Sandra was preceded in death by her parents.

JONES — Relatives and friends of Sandra Kay Jones, who died Monday, Oct. 10, 2011, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at

Bauer-Hillis Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 758 Main St., Rimersburg, where funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday with Pastor Robert Ryver officiating.
