Robert Arthur Hiles
Robert Arthur Hiles, 51, of Sugarcreek Township, Armstrong County, passed away Sunday at his home.
He was born on March 10, 1963, in Kittanning to Edith N. Taylor Hiles of Sugarcreek Township and the late Rodney A. Hiles. He lived in the area all his life.
Robert enjoyed fishing and camping. He also enjoyed train and racetrack displays.
He was class president of his graduating class at Lenape Vo-Tech.
In addition to his mother, Robert is survived by his sister, Kim (Jay) Maycock of Kittanning; his brother, Scott (Marcy) Hiles of Sugarcreek Township; his sons, Heath McCrea and Rodney J. Hiles, both of Sugarcreek Township; and his niece, Alisha Maycock of Kittanning. He was also the nephew of Pete Taylor of Kittanning.
In addition to his father, Robert was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Edith and Robert Taylor; his paternal grandparents, Nettie and Arthur Hiles; and his niece, Britany Maycock.
Hiles— The friends of Robert Arthur Hiles, who passed away Sunday, Sept. 14, 2014, will be received from 10 a.m. to the time of services at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home, 832 E. Brady Road, Cowansville, with the D. Randall Forrester officiating.
