Alene E. Campbell

Alene E. Campbell, 94, of Chicora, died Friday afternoon at Concordia at the Orchard, Butler.

She was born June 29, 1922, in Chicora, the daughter of the late Joseph Iman and the late Agatha Ransel Iman.

She was a member of Saint Joseph Roman Catholic Church, North Oakland, Chicora. She was a member of the Christian Mothers of the Church.

She is survived by her husband of 69 years, Merle L. Campbell Sr.; her sons, Merle L. (Jody) Campbell Jr. of Butler, Donald J. (Connie) Campbell of Karns City; her grandchildren, Sarah (Frank) Walowen of Chicora, Michele (Zac) Boda of Butler, Eric Campbell and his fiancé, Maria Krafty, of Butler, Robin Crissman of Karns City, and John (Dyan) Hesidence of Karns City; seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Edward Iman; and one great-grandson, Isaac Walowen.

CAMPBELL — Friends of Alene E. Campbell, who died Friday, Jan. 6, 2017, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at STEIGHNER FUNERAL HOME, 111 E. Slippery Rock and Main streets, in downtown Chicora.A funeral Mass will be at noon Thursday at Saint Joseph Catholic Church in North Oakland, Chicora, with the Rev.
