Lawrence “Larry” Reuben Crawford, 64, of Kittanning died Tuesday.

He was born on Aug. 30, 1953, in Bradys Bend, and was the son of the late Henry John and Carmela Ann “Minnie” (Silverio) Crawford Sr.

He retired after serving as Sheriff of Armstrong County for 20 years.

Larry was a member of St. Mary Our Lady of Guadalupe Roman Catholic Church in Kittanning, and also belonged to the Sons of Italy 1484 in Bradys Bend, and the Fraternal Order of Police.

Larry was a generous and loving family man who lived life to the fullest. He enjoyed hunting, gardening and visiting the family's camp. He was happy watching the Pirates, playing poker and making wine, but most of all, he loved spending time with family and friends.

Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Kim (Cumberland) Crawford of Kittanning; his sons, Brandon (Lindsay) Crawford of Sarver, Travis (Jessica) Crawford of Kittanning, and Lance (Katelynn) Crawford of Kittanning; his grandchildren, Sophia, Trenten, Holly, Tanner and Emery; his brother, Henry Crawford of Bradys Bend; his sisters, Mary Ann O'Donnell of Kittanning, and Elaine (Jack) Grazioli of Kittanning; and multiple nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Joseph O'Donnell; and his sister-in-law, Sandy Crawford.

CRAWFORD — Friends of Lawrence “Larry” Reuben Crawford, who died Tuesday, Aug. 7, 2018, will be received from 1 to 7 p.m. Friday at Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home, 200 S. McKean St., Kittanning.Parting prayers will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.A funeral Mass will follow at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary Our Lady of Guadalupe Roman Catholic Church, Kittanning, with the Rev.
