Bowling seminarBUTLER TWP — The Butler County Bowling Association is sponsoring a Bowling 101 Seminar from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Feb. 22 at Family Bowlaway.All age levels and all levels of bowlers are welcome. Classroom and on-lane instruction will be provided. Walk-ins are also welcome.There is a $10 fee to cover use of lanes and lunch.
Family ‘hoop shoot’CRANBERRY TWP — The Cranberry Township Lions Club will host a family ‘Hoop Shoot’ from 11 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. March 21 in the Cranberry Township Municipal Center gymnasium.For a donation of $5, or $20 for an entire family, participants can try their skills in a foul shooting competition and hot-shot contest. Prizes will be awarded to boys and girls in all age groups, grades 1-6.This is a fund-raiser for the VIP Sports Camp, a summer camp for visually impaired children and teens, organized by Slippery Rock University.Call 724-776-4806, ext. 1129, to pre-register.
