Sheila L. Uber
Sheila L. Uber, 48, of Corsica, Pa., passed away unexpectedly at her home Sunday.
Born on Nov. 17, 1966, in Butler, she was the daughter of the late John I. and Florence (Shakley) Kocher.
Sheila was a graduate of Butler High School. In 1988, she married Daniel E. Uber, who survives.
Sheila was a homemaker who loved looking after her family and taking care of those around her. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Clarion and was active there in the United Methodist Women and the Trailblazers Sunday School Class. Sheila was also a former Girl Scout leader.
In addition to her husband, Sheila is survived by her two sons, Nolan (Mindy) Uber of Las Vegas, Nev., and Evan Uber of Corsica; her daughter, Shawna Kuriger (Dana Crawford) of North Versailles, Pa.; her brother, John Kocher of Duncanville, Texas; her two sisters, Kathy Kocher of Butler, and Rhonda (Neal) Jarrett of Temple, Texas; her five grandchildren, Logan and Dylan Kuriger, and Zachary, Alexander and Charlie Uber; her beloved Aunt Mag; several brothers- and sisters-in-law; and numerous nieces and nephews.
UBER — Arrangement for Sheila L. Uber, who died Jan. 4, 2015, are under the care of the GOBLE FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 330 Wood St., Clarion, where visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday. An additional visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the First United Methodist Church, 600 Wood St., Clarion, to be followed by funeral services at 11 a.m. with the Rev.
