Dennis D. Shever
Dennis D. Shever, 67, of Harmony died Saturday evening at Passavant Retirement Community, Zelienople.
Born in Ellwood City Oct. 14, 1940, he was the son of H. Ruth Willetts Shever Fox of Zelienople and the late Paul C. Shever.
Mr. Shaver was a member of the Grace Church inHarmony.
A veteran of the Vietnam War, he served with the Coast Guard.
He had retired from Belle-Atlantic in Zelienople as a switchman after 30 years.
He enjoyed golfing, hunting and bowling and belonged to the Monday Night Bowling League.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra K. Curry Shever, whom he married on Dec. 7, 1963; his mother; two sons, Paul D. and Karen Shever of Cranberry Township and Craig A. and KathyShever of Butler; a brother, Delmar and Barbara Shever of Tampa, Fla.; a sister Dawn and Peter Lampard of Canton, Ohio; two grandchildren, Ashley and Alex Shever; and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Gary Shever.
