Audrene R. Mohr Teets, 97, a resident of Shenango Presbyterian Senior Care in New Wilmington, formerly of Zelienople, died Tuesday at Jameson Hospital in New Castle.

Born April 4, 1913, in Harmony, she was the daughter of Earl Andrew and Bessie (Shever) Scheidemantle.

Mrs. Teets was a member of the English Lutheran Church in Zelienople.

She had served as organist at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Zelienople; Portersville Presbyterian Church in Portersville, and as a young woman, she was the organist for Trinity Lutheran Church in Ellwood City.

Mrs. Teets also had played the piano for silent movies at the theater in Ellwood City and had been a private piano teacher for many years in Zelienople.

She had been a member and past worthy matron of the Zelienople Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star, a member of the Travelers Club of Zelienople and was a member and past president of the Barkley Women's Club in West Palm Beach, Fla.

She is survived by her daughter, Sondra Smith and her husband, Harry, of Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla., and by nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Walter Andrew Mohr; her second husband, Clayton "Lou" Teets; a brother, Gerald Scheidemantle; and two sisters, Mary Jane Minteer and Betty Barnett.

<B>TEETS</B> — Friends of Audrene R. Mohr Teets, who died Tuesday, Aug. 17, 2010, will be received from 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the <B>Boylan Funeral Home</B>, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 215 N. Main St., Zelienople, with the Rev. Robert A. Keplinger, her church pastor, officiating. Everyone, please meet at the church. Entombment will follow in the Zelienople Community Mausoleum.Memorial donations may be made to the Organ Fund at English Lutheran Church, 200 E.
