Vivian M. Johnson Hudson
Vivian M. Johnson Hudson, 79, formerly of Charles Street, Portersville, Muddy Creek Township, passed away Thursday at the Autumn Grove Care Center in Harrisville.
Born May 2, 1936, in New Castle, she was the daughter of the late William and Josephine Majors Duncan.
In addition to her parents, Vivian was preceded in death by her former husbands, Richard O. Johnson and Donald Hudson; two brothers, Bill and Ronnie Duncan; and one grandson, Jagger Lee Hogue.
Vivian was a nurse's aide for many years at many area nursing homes, including Silver Oaks, Belvedere and St. Joseph.
She enjoyed preparing family dinners and family camping trips. Her most cherished time was spent with her children and grandchildren.
Survivors include two sons, Richard Elton (Beth) Johnson of New Castle and Gary William (Patty) Johnson of New Wilmington, Pa.; four daughters, Patricia Lorraine (Paul) Sallmen of North Carolina, Annette Rene' (Tom) Belsterling of Rochester, N.Y., Lila Darlene (Bob) McCandless of Butler and Vivian Leigh (Brian) Hogue of Portersville; three sisters, Delores Rodgers of New Castle, Shirley Grannis of North Carolina and Patricia Fedrizzi of New Bedford, Mass.; one brother, John Duncan of New Castle; 14 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
HUDSON — Visiting hours for Vivian M. Johnson Hudson, who died Thursday, Oct. 29, 2015, will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the Marshall Funeral Home, 200 Fountain Ave., Ellwood City.Friends will also be received from 1 p.m. until the time of the funeral services at 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. The Rev.
